Pre-Event Checklist

Making sure site and technology are ready for event

At least 3 weeks in advance:

  • Provide to Account Manager or Retail Operations Manager the event schedules and anticipated attendance based on historical data as well as the start time, end time and if there are any event breaks / halftimes.
  • This will allow AiFi teams to plan the resources and ensure the events run smoothly.

Before the event

  • Confirm automated ticket for Live Event Support has been raised by AiFi Service Desk. If not, please request one via support.aifi.com describing the event time and details, including any event-specific information that could affect the traffic (e.g., if there are any event breaks / halftimes during which customers shop).
  • Complete a visual check of the payment terminals to confirm the following:
    • Prompt screen and have ALL three payment icons present (Swipe, Tap, Insert).
    • Online and prompting offer of receipt when approached (note: NOT applicable with no-registration flow).
  • Make sure the planogram in Operations App is updated to reflect what's on the shelves on the event day.
  • Complete a test end-to-end customer journey (enter store, pick up a product, put it back, exit the store) and verify it in AiFi Console, this helps to ensure all functions are working as expected.
