What's the Operations App 2?​

The Operations App 2 is one of the most valuable tools available for AiFi’s clients to efficiently manage their autonomous store! Through the App, retailers are able to make any changes concerning products, planograms, and keep up to date with all operational alerts in their store.

Compatibility​

In addition to iOS and Android, the Operation App 2 also supports the Android-based Zebra TC26 and Cilico devices. For optimal functionality on a Zebra device, ensure it includes the SE4710 scanner model. Additional compatible devices include Datalogic A6 and Honeywell.

Create an Account​

User accounts in Operations App 2 are now unified with those in AiFi Console. This means that access to both platforms is managed using the same set of permissions.

To enable or restrict specific features, go to AiFi Console > Settings > Permissions and search for the permission you want to assign. For example, product creation is now controlled by a single permission shared across both apps.

How to add a new user​

  1. Go to AiFi Console > Settings > Users > Add User
  2. Click "+Add" to start creating a new account. Enter the user's email address (they'll receive an invitation) and select the permissions they need for Operations App 2 and AiFi Console.
  3. Account activation: The user will receive an email with a link to set up their account. After creating a password, the account becomes active.
  4. Login: Once the password is set, the user can log into both Operations App 2 and AiFi Console.

Password Reset​

Operations App 2 uses an external identity provider called Keycloak to manage logins, passwords, and secure access (including optional two-factor authentication). You can now do it in the app.

To reset your password:

  1. Tap "Forgot Password?" below the login form.
  2. Enter your email address associated with your AiFi account.
  3. Follow the instructions in the email to create a new password.

Remove a User​

Only organization administrators can remove user accounts.

To remove a user:

  1. Go to AiFi Console > Settings > Users
  2. Select the user you want to remove.
  3. Click "Remove user", then confirm the action. The user will immediately lose access to both Operations App 2 and AiFi Console.
