OASIS v6.2

Release date: September 15, 2025

We’re excited to announce the release of OASIS 6.2, a milestone update that brings strategic integrations, expanded global compliance, and robust platform enhancements to support the evolving needs of autonomous retail.

This release introduces native support for GiveX, VenueNext, and Korona POS, alongside major improvements in payment flows, API flexibility, and store performance. We've also delivered critical bug fixes to improve checkout accuracy, system reliability, and shopper experience across all store configurations.

AI for Spatial Understanding

IMPROVED Interaction Detection Refactor

OASIS 6.2 delivers a foundational refactor to the Interaction Detection layer in the Product Prediction Pipeline. This update replaces the previous monolithic buffer with two dedicated microservices—Merger and Matcher—to isolate responsibilities and improve system reliability under real-time loads.

This enables accurate shopper-product associations even when vision data alone is insufficient, supporting more precise event correlation in mixed-sensor environments.

Benefits of Refactoring

  • Thread-locking issues in the previous design are eliminated.
  • Microservices can fail or restart independently without halting the pipeline.
  • Easier to monitor, debug, and scale each component individually.

Together, these changes make the fusion layer more robust for deployments with high sensor density or hybrid signal inputs.

Frictionless Commerce

Integrations & Systems

NEW VenueNext Loyalty Integration

VenueNext, a loyalty platform now part of the Shift4 ecosystem, is officially integrated into AiFi’s store ecosystem. Shoppers using the VenueNext app can scan their credentials and instantly apply loyalty perks during checkout, delivering a frictionless and connected fan experience.

NEW GiveX Loyalty Integration

GiveX is now natively supported, allowing retailers to reward shoppers through real-time QR code-based loyalty programs. The integration covers automatic discount application, balance retrieval, and seamless redemption during the checkout process. This enables stores to attract and retain loyal customers with minimal operational overhead, while ensuring accurate receipts and a streamlined customer experience.

NEW Korona POS Integration

We’ve completed an integration with the Korona POS system, bringing enhanced pricing and receipt functionality to AiFi stores. Retailers using Korona can now push external pricing rules, discounts, and promotions directly into the AiFi environment, ensuring pricing consistency between the POS and autonomous store operations.

Additionally, Korona-powered stores can generate compliant digital receipts and synchronize transactional records for a seamless end-to-end checkout process.

IMPROVED Adyen Compliance for the Japanese Market

We’ve introduced a new integration flow for the Payment Card journey to meet regulatory requirements specific to the Japanese market. These improvements ensure compliance with Adyen’s regional APIs while preserving a seamless and secure shopper experience. This update enables smooth store launches in Japan and enhances the adaptability of Adyen as a payment provider in that country.

API Improvements

NEW Hybrid Checkout Flow Support

We’ve introduced support for hybrid checkout models to enable flexible shopper journeys in mixed-mode environments. In these stores, shoppers can freely enter without scanning a QR code or tapping a card and choose between Self Checkout (SCO) or AutoCheckout flows when exiting.

To support this configuration, OASIS now includes a reappeared flag in webhook payloads to better track and reconcile shopper behavior across multiple exit scenarios.

Bug Fixes

QR Code Parsing from VGUANG Scanners

Resolved an issue where QR codes obtained from VGUANG scanners weren't being parsed correctly. This bug impacted customer check-in flows in stores running on the 6.x stack, resulting in failures to identify or apply loyalty and discount data from QR scans.

Post-Deployment Fixes for Loyalty-Enabled Stores

Fixed critical bugs identified after the deployment of loyalty-enabled stores. These issues impacted the accuracy of cart statuses and loyalty workflows, especially in zero-dollar transactions and order review processes.

Gondolas Defaulting as Disabled in OASIS 6.x

Resolved an issue where gondolas were unexpectedly reverting to a disabled state, even after being enabled via the store console. This caused inconsistencies between store and AiFi console views, particularly affecting store operations in some environments running OASIX 6.x.

Improved Payment Reliability for Returning Shoppers Using Adyen

We’ve resolved an issue affecting returning shoppers who use saved cards through Adyen. In some cases, payments were declined because the email used during checkout didn’t match the one originally linked to the saved payment method. The system now automatically ensures the correct email is used, resulting in a smoother and more reliable experience for returning customers.

Corrected Line Item Tax Calculations for ERP Reporting

Resolved an issue where individual item taxes weren't being returned correctly by the Oracle ERP integration, resulting in inaccurate reporting totals. The system now accurately calculates and includes tax values at the line-item level, ensuring that financial reports and order summaries are consistent and reliable.
