OASIS v6.4
Release date: December 16, 2025
OASIS 6.4.0 delivers fixes and improvements across core store operations. The release improves shopper session accuracy, fixes several payment and discount issues seen in production, and adds clearer feedback during loyalty and entry flows.
API documentation is cleaned up so partners only see the endpoints they should use, and new planogram notifications give retailers quicker visibility into misplaced products.
AI for Spatial Understanding
IMPROVED Improved Shopper Session Accuracy
We resolved an issue where some shopper sessions were incorrectly marked as re-identified or disappeared in specific conditions. This ensures the system maintains an accurate understanding of who is inside the store, leading to cleaner session tracking, fewer exceptions, and more reliable automated checkouts.
IMPROVED Enhanced Device & Video Insight
Video and sensor data are an essential part of AiFi’s spatial understanding. This update improves how background videos are captured and stored, ensuring that retailers and support teams have complete visual coverage when reviewing sessions or investigating anomalies. Missing or incomplete clips in corner cases have now been addressed.
NEW Add a new webhook for planogram error notifications
Retailers can now receive real time notifications when a product is detected in an incorrect shelf location. Instead of relying on periodic reports, stores can integrate live planogram error events directly into their dashboards or operational tools. This enables faster corrections, improved operational response, and more consistent shelf quality.
To enable this feature, retailers must configure a webhook endpoint in the AiFi Console. Once configured, AiFi automatically sends planogram error events to the webhook URL in real time as they occur. For step-by-step instructions, see how to create webhooks.

Frictionless Commerce
NEW Payment Terminal Management via AiFi Console
We've introduced a centralized system for managing payment terminals across all supported payment providers. OASIS now stores and synchronizes terminal configurations in a single place, reducing configuration drift, simplifying onboarding, and ensuring consistency across regions and environments.
In the short term, initial terminal setup and configuration remain managed by AiFi to ensure a smooth and secure rollout. Over time, this capability is designed to progressively shift ownership to retailers, allowing them to independently manage terminal operations such as terminal swaps, replacements, and day to day configuration changes.
This approach provides immediate operational stability while establishing a clear path toward full retailer self service, particularly for customers operating their own payment providers or processors.

IMPROVED More reliable discount & loyalty experiences
We strengthened support for promotions, loyalty balances, and percentage-based discounts — including cases where discounts appear as negative line items. Several payment providers (notably FreedomPay and GiveX) now interpret discounted baskets correctly, ensuring that receipts match customer expectations and preventing unnecessary declines.
NEW Real-Time loyalty feedback at store entry
Stores using QR-based loyalty or membership identification now benefit from real-time visual feedback at the Entry UI. When a fan scans a loyalty code, the system instantly displays whether the code was recognized, matched to a provider, pending verification, or invalid. This reduces confusion and helps customers understand what's happening without staff intervention.
Bug Fixes
More Reliable in-Store payment flows
We resolved issues related to pre-authorization IDs leaking into logs and metrics, occasional inconsistencies in terminal events, and unexpected behavior during contested order review. These fixes make payment flows more stable and reduce operational friction for retailers.
Improved door validation security
Door validation has been strengthened to prevent unauthorized or invalid entry attempts. This update ensures that only properly validated shopper interactions can trigger door access, improving overall store security and reducing the risk of misuse.
Improved GiveX discount handling
Stores using GiveX for loyalty and discounting will now see correct discount calculations and accurate receipt totals, particularly in percentage-based discount scenarios during checkout.
Other Improvements
- Product Snapshots: Products snapshot endpoints now support retrieving products directly by product ID, making integrations with external catalog systems more straightforward and more reliable.
- Video Recorder Metrics: Additional metrics and configuration visibility have been introduced for video recorder components, helping teams diagnose issues faster and improving operational support.
- TechOps Tools: TechOps tools have been improved to reduce manual configuration and streamline retailer onboarding.
